About Ben Lane
Owner/Operator and Forestry Consultant
Ben has been in the forestry business since 2012, having learned and worked under some of Southeastern Virginia's best foresters.
In 2016 he decided to start Eastern Virginia Forestry Services, LLC (EVFS), a "turn-key" forestry consulting company.
EVFS utilizes time-tested forestry methods and knowledge to deliver the highest quality work possible for their clients while integrating the "small town" feel where each client is treated like family.

Community and Family Life
Ben grew up in the small town of Franklin, Virginia, where he and his wife Ansley still reside.
Ben has also been a Professional Firefighter / EMT for the City of Suffolk, Virginia since 2007. He volunteers his time inspecting properties for the American Tree Farm System and serving the surrounding community through the Franklin Masonic Lodge AF&AM #151, where he is a Master Mason. Ben enjoys spending his free time with his wife and family when he's not hunting or fishing.
