Land surveys are not cheap and the last thing you want to do is pay for your land to be surveyed twice.
Boundary Line Maintenance (BLM) involves applying a line of paint on the trees along your property line.
As simple as it sounds, this service can save you, as a landowner, a lot of money over time. BLM is a great tool to utilize right after a land survey is performed.
Once a survey is performed it is a good idea to follow the surveying ribbons and apply paint along the property line to establish a visible perimeter around your property. This lets you, as well as your neighbors, know where your property ends and where theirs begins.
At EVFS, we use specialized tree marking paint to establish property boundaries. This product can withstand nature's relentless conditions year after year. We do recommend fresh paint be applied every 7-8 years to ensure property lines are visible. Several colors are available.
Using past surveys to locate existing property lines
If your property has been surveyed in the past, EVFS can use your current plat to locate your existing property lines as well.
